The policy of this company is to achieve high standards of health and safety at all
its work locations and operations as an integral part of our working procedures.
This is undertaken with the objective of preventing work-related injuries and
illness.
These
high standards are achieved through both the company and the employees being
committed and involved in the health and safety program. We are actively taking
steps to control potential hazards, near misses, lost time injuries and
environmental hazards.
Our
safety management plan has been developed to comply with relevant legislation
and advisory standards, with particular emphasis on the Occupational Health and
Safety of our employees. It is the obligation of all employees to have a sound
knowledge of these standards established by these laws and guidelines and to
utilise and implement the rules and regulations in safe working practices.
Regard
for the safety of the general public, our own employees, employees of fellow
contractors and contractors we are supervising, is a supreme responsibility at
all levels of our organisation. It is also our aim to achieve as little
environmental impact as possible.
A
safe operation is organised, clean and efficient. If every employee regards
accidents in the same way we consider all other aspects of our operation. We are
progressing to be as far as humanly possible in a better position not only to
control accidents but also to eliminate them.
It
is therefore of utmost importance that all aspects of our safety management plan
are strictly adhered to and the intent of the plan be followed as is humanly
possible.
